September is Kinship Care Month. Please take the time to recognize, thank, honor and appreciate the relative and kinship caregivers who provide safe, stable and familiar homes for children in need when they cannot remain in their own homes. About two-thirds of children removed from their home for safety concerns stay with relative/kinship caregivers.
